All teaching staff will require a full enhanced and up to date DBS certificate or be registered with the DBS Update Service, before going out to work in an educational setting.
The team at Supply Tree ensure that certificates are checked carefully, and copies are saved to confidential individual staff files. These copies will also be available to be viewed by designated staff at educational settings if required.
We strongly advise that all teaching staff are registered with the DBS Update Service.
If a member of staff does not hold an up to date DBS certificate, we can arrange for a new DBS application to be completed.
‘DBS Update Service Checks’ are performed annually by the team at Supply Tree on all staff who are registered. Results from these checks are recorded on our confidential database and updated on individual Compliance Records.
