Full time Year 3 Teacher – West Dorset – Small rural school

We excited to offer an opportunity for a Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working together. A beautiful, tranquil rural setting with close-knit school community with smaller class sizes require a full time teacher for the Summer term (in the first instance).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
• Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Year 3 or a similar key stage
• A passion for helping children develop a love of learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities
• A positive, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching

As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
